Kriya Yoga

Introduction of "Kriya Yoga"

God-realization.
  • "Kriya Yoga" is not a mere intellectual treatise, but a deep reflection of realization. The book is less in volume but colossal in essence. It has everything a spiritual aspirant want to know about Kriya Yoga. We sincerely hope this original piece of work shall motivate all to dive into the supreme path of Self-realization.

  • Whoever wishes to have it, please contact me via Facebook for further detail. We have both the Bengali and English versions available. Please do not ask for a Hindi version or E-book as they are not yet prepared.
  • “There is a deeper astrology, not dependent on the testimony of calendars and clocks. Each man is a part of the Creator, or Cosmic Man; he has a heavenly body as well as one of earth. The human eye sees the physical form, but the inward eye penetrates more profoundly, even to the universal pattern of which each man is an integral and individual part.” Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri with Brahmachari Swarupananda
  • Kriya Yoga is the essence of all spiritual practices. It is a practical science. It gives immediate result. It is a complete technique that brings all-round development.
  • Your mid-brain is the blackboard of your life. Many thoughts and impressions are stored there. You must clean the mid-brain nicely through meditation

  • The soul is finer or more delicate than the miniscule of atomized substance and hence beyond the state of debate and discussion.
  •
  • Every human being is essentially a soul, covered with a veil of maya. Through evolution and self-effort, man makes a little hole in the veil, in time, he makes the hole bigger and bigger. As the opening enlarges, his consciousness expands and the soul becomes more manifest. When the veil is completely torn away, the soul is fully manifest in him. That man has become a Master - master of himself and of maya.
  •
  • Practicing Kriya is the study of the Vedas. One who practices Kriya is a Devata. One will receive results according to his or her Kriya practice.
  •
  • When by Kriya Yoga mortal breath disappears scientifically from the lungs, the yogi consciously experiences, without dying, the death process by which energy is switched off from the senses (causing the disappearance of the body consciousness and the simultaneous appearance of the soul consciousness). Unlike the ordinary man, the yogi realizes that his life is not conditioned by exhalation and inhalation, but that the steady life force in the brain is continuously reinforced through the medulla from the omnipresent cosmic current. Even mortal man during the nightly state of sleep rises psychologically above the consciousness of breath; his life force then partially becomes still and reveals a glimpse of the soul as the deep joy of sleep. The breathless yogi, however, realizes the state of conscious "death" as a far deeper and more blessed state than that bestowed by the deepest blissful semi-superconscious sleep. When breath ceases in the Kriya Yogi, he is suffused with an incomparable bliss. He realizes then that it is the storm of human breath that is responsible for the creation of the dream wave of the human body and its sensations; it is breath that causes body consciousness.
  • Treasured expression by The Great Master Paramahansa Yogananda on India’s Freedom.
  • To be able to do whatever one pleases is not the real meaning of freedom of actions. You should understand to what degree you are free, and how much you are influenced by bad habits. True freedom consists in performing all actions in accordance with right judgment and choice of will, not in being compelled by habits. Eat what you should eat and not necessarily what you are used to. Do what you ought to do, not what your bad habits dictate. It's only when you discard bad habits that you are really a free man.
  • Protect yourself within the fortress of wisdom. There is no greater safety. Complete understanding will bring you to a point where nothing can hurt you.
  • He is the kriyavan, lover of wisdom, devoted to God, constantly hearing the divine sound (i.e., Om), who practices the mystic rites of subjective meditation (i.e., Kriya Yoga), who has taken the vow of Self-illumination, perception of divine light on the top of the head, and he alone is rightly qualified to receive the divine wisdom and God-realization.

Kriya Yoga is a scientific technique.

  • The practice of this annihilates all the unusual and unreasonable elemental propensities ever present in the spiritual centers of human body. It awakens the Kundalini and restores equilibrium. It dispels delusion and ignorance, and helps to discover the Divinity within. Every being is destined to be perfect and the process of Kriya quickens it.

  • The soul, being immutable and transcendental, is thus superior to the easily influenced human intellect. By meditation the incorruptible blessed nature of the soul is discovered. Soul perception is so delightful and insightful that it restrains the errant desires of the prodigal ego. After disciplining the sense desires by spiritual means, the devotee is ultimately able to destroy the almost unconquerable lust of material desire that is a such a powerful enemy of Self-realization.
